Kristen Bell stars in Netflix’s new trailer for ‘The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window’

From ‘The Girl on the Train’ to ‘The Woman in the Window’, mystery crime thrillers have long captured audiences, but often use the same stereotypical film titles, storylines, thriller music and scenes of the female protagonists looking out a window watching the world go by. 

So… Netflix have decided to up the ante and spoof the aforementioned films with a new eight-episode miniseries called ‘The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window’. 

The series will be a hybrid of a psychological thriller and a dark, satirical comedy, starring Kristen Bell (‘The Good Place’, ‘Veronica Mars’), as the lead character Anna, whose life is like groundhog day where she drowns her sorrows in wine and prescription medication.

That’s until one day she spies on her neighbours and witnesses a murder...or was it merely a hallucination? 

The show also stars Tom Riley, Samsara Yett, Michael Ealy, Mary Holland, Shelley Hennig, Cameron Britton, Christina Anthony and Benjamin Levy Aguilar.
