After four years of marriage, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have decided to end their relationship.
The couple has been together for almost sixteen years and recently took to social media to share their divorce, saying, “The love between us carries on.”
Momoa says he fell in love with Lisa at an early age, 8 years old in fact when he saw her on the television and said "Mommy I want that one"
While the pair actually met in person many years later when mutual friends introduced the two at a New York City jazz club
12 years later the couple were wed in October of 2017, but now it seems the romance has come to an end.
The pair stated on social media “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times…A revolution is unfolding, and our family is no exception.”
“We are parting ways in marriage and sharing the news not because we think it’s newsworthy, but so that we may do so with dignity and honesty.”
