
Jobseekers across Bendigo are being offered up hospitality and tourism traineeships to help address worker shortages in the region.
The Andrews government announced a $6 million initiative, allowing trainees to receive a full year of secure work while doing placement..
A strong focus will be put on Bendigo over the next 12-months.
To attract workers, trainees will be paid a wage supplement of up to $10,000 above the relevant industry award over the 12-month period.
