The latest viral trend on TikTok is discovering how angry you are, with a new quiz taking over the platform and letting people discover their anger levels compared to the average person.

The test was made popular by TikTok user Elina (@e._sm) after she posted a video writing, "I didn’t expect that😬 #angertest." In the clip, she captions, "Interesting how angry I am. I test my anger level." She then reveals her results, showing she was 34.2% more susceptible to anger than the average person.

The video has received over 600K views and 91K likes at the time of writing, with over 2.5K comments reacting and also sharing their results. Many have followed, posting their own videos with their results and also sharing their results to Twitter.

The personality quiz created by IDR Labs International tests your susceptibility to anger with a series of 38 questions that tests your reaction to certain phrases. The level of disagreement and agreement overall determines your susceptibility to anger compared to the rest of the population.

Users are questioned things like, "I get angry when something blocks my plans," "I get angry when someone embarrasses me," and "I can make myself angry about something in the past just by thinking about it," and are required to agree or disagree on a slider scale.

The results are then broken up into Anger Arousal, Anger Spectrum, Hostile Outlook, External Anger, Internal Anger and finally your Total Score and percentage of susceptibility to anger. The results page also explains the facts of anger listed above.

The test is scientifically validated and is based on the work of Dr. Judith M. Siegel. The test says, "Analyses of Siegel's work have found the test to have good psychometric properties in the form of high validity and test-retest reliability. Consequently, the test is frequently used for research purposes and in clinical settings, where it has been shown to be relevant, not just to a person's anger, but to their physical health and stress responses as well."
