A 21-year-old woman gave birth on the toilet and didn't know she was pregnant.
How does that work? Well here is her story.
Teagan was in college at the time and her boyfriend Mitchell was working around 2 hours away.
So they had a long-distance relationship which made things tricky.
She called him one day and said "I'm either getting fat or I'm pregnant"
He told her to get a pregnancy test and when she did she discovered she was pregnant.
Knowing the timeline roughly in her head she guesstimated that she was either 1 month or 3 months pregnant.
Teagan was not showing at all yet as seen in these stills from her TikTok account.

A week after getting the result, she had pain and thought she was having a miscarriage.
So how did Teagan not know that she was pregnant?
All through the pregnancy, she had what she thought was a period. It was light but her normal periods were as well.
She also experienced a Cryptic Pregnancy which can affect women in a couple of ways.
Some don't know they are pregnant until around 5-6 months.
A smaller number don't know until they are in actual labour.
In Teagan's case, she is tall for a woman at 6ft so the baby grew up and behind her ribs instead of out.

Baby Owen is now over 1 year old and he is healthy and very loved by his mum and dad.

And he did not fall into (or touch) the toilet water or the toilet bowl like some other outlets have reported.

Teagan and Mitchell moved in together in Teagan's parents' basement shortly after Owen was born.
And soon after that, they tied the knot making their little unexpected family official (on paper at least).
