With a caption of only a few words “I guess I’m more similar to will than I thought” Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp has come out as gay in a TikTok video he released only a few hours ago.

In the video released on social media Schnapp is seen to be lip synching to the TikTok sound of a woman’s voice saying – ‘You know it never was that serious, it was never that serious, quite frankly we will never be that serious.’

Turns out that the people closest to him knew it all along! with his text on clip reading “When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was “we know“.

In July, Noah Schnapp opened up about his Stranger Things character Will Byers being in love with Mike Wheeler – a relationship long-suspected by fans of the show. Although he had been hesitant to discuss it previously for fear of revealing important plot points, his confirmation provided much needed representation onscreen and happily surprised many viewers.
