Thanks to streaming, we're only ever a click away from binge-watching TV shows, from new exciting series that we fall instantly in love with to old classics that we greet like an old friend again after missing them for years.
We're spoiled for choice and there's probably not enough time to see them all, so where do you start?
Maybe with this list from Flicks.com.au, who've surveyed 10,000 Aussies about their favourite TV shows of all time and created a ranking of the top 50.
Who would've thought a show about a teacher who cooks up drugs would prove such a massive hit, but of course the cult show Breaking Bad was about more than Walter White taking on the drug lords and totally deserves its number 1 spot.
For those who couldn't handle too much reality, Game of Thrones provided epic proportions of escapist fantasy and lands at number 2 in the ranking.
At number 3 spot is Friends followed by Seinfeld and The Sopranos rounding out the top 5.
The list is a mix of old and new, with still-running shows like The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Greys Anatomy and sadly soon-to-finish Brooklyn Nine-Nine making the top 25.
There's also some super oldies like M*A*S*H, Star Trek and Fawlty Towers, definitely classics, along with new shows like Stranger Things, Lucifer and Fleabag who hopefully stand the test of time when the ranking is no doubt done again in the future.
Wentworth was the only Aussie show to make the top 50.
